
Blood Donation Camp Organized; 70 Donors Participate, Eye Donation Pledges Taken
Sangli: A blood donation camp was jointly organized by Samvedana Foundation, Sudarshan Aluminium India Limited, Siddhivinayak Ganapati Cancer Hospital Miraj, and R.R. Patil College of Homeopathy, where 70 people donated blood. Along with this, several participants also took the pledge for eye donation, further strengthening the spirit of service towards society.
To acknowledge their contribution, blood donors were felicitated with prizes, certificates, and free health check-ups, including diabetes screening, blood pressure monitoring, and eye examinations.
On this occasion, Dr. Shishir Gosavi honored Poonam Shah and Ronak Shah for their outstanding social work.

‘Manikarnika’ Screening for Orphan Girls by Samvedana Foundation on Republic Day
On the occasion of Republic Day, the Samvedana Foundation, Sangli, organized a special screening of the film ‘Manikarnika – Jhansi Ki Rani’ for 60 orphan girls. The film, which highlights the strength and bravery of Rani Laxmibai, was chosen to inspire and promote the message of women empowerment.
The initiative aligns with the Foundation’s commitment to supporting the all-round development of women and girls, and providing them with the guidance and assistance needed to build a better future.
Ronak Shah and Poonam Shah, Presidents of the Foundation, were present during the event and interacted warmly with the girls, emphasizing the importance of courage, education, and self-confidence in their lives.

Samvedana Foundation Extends Daily Support to Orphans, Needy, and the Elderly
Samvedana Foundation has been consistently working for the welfare of society by providing food to orphans and needy individuals, especially the elderly, on a daily basis. In addition to nutritious meals, beneficiaries are also provided with essential medicines, household items, clothes, and other necessities to support their daily lives.
Since March 1, 2018, the Foundation has undertaken a special initiative to identify disabled, elderly, and destitute individuals in the city—those unable to support themselves due to physical disabilities—and provide them with two free meals every day. This initiative ensures that vulnerable sections of society are not left neglected and receive the care and dignity they deserve.
Through this noble effort, Samvedana Foundation continues to spread hope, compassion, and humanity, becoming a source of relief and reassurance for countless lives.
